The 2009 revised New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards (NJCCCS) proposes "infusion of interdisciplinary connections, technology and global awareness," and we are laying the groundwork for a unique 21st century education reform. Educational technology is allowing for equalized learning opportunities to develop self-directed, creative, collaborative, digital citizens who are skilled at solving real-world problems and prepared for the 21st century workforce. We invest in the technology tools and training needed to sustain and build upon our progressive operation of systems and provide professional development to all staff members. Innovative technological resources such as our iTunes U site, interactive whiteboards, netbooks, mobile computing and other wireless devices, and web 2.0 (soon to be web 3.0) apps are being used to enhance student learning unlike ever before. This investment in technology allows us to embrace the different ways of learning using problem-based interdisciplinary models and technology infusion throughout all content areas as directed in the NJCCCS Revision Project.
