• Hello Parents and Families!

Welcome to the 7th Grade, here at Shull School!  I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am to welcome our students back to a wonderful new school year.  It is my most sincere hope that everyone is now, and remains, safe, healthy and well.  My name is Mrs. Shatema Johnson, and I am your child’s In-Class Resource teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.   As your child works to strengthen their skills in our various classrooms, I will work to best meet every student’s individual needs.  I also work closely with the Child Study Team (CST) case managers, and related service providers (Speech, OT, PT, and Counselors).

My contact information is below.  You are welcome to reach out to me as needed.  I check my messages several times a day, and respond as quickly as I can.  However, I may not always be able to respond to messages left after 3pm on school days, or on weekends and school holidays, until the next school day.  Please keep in mind that as part of our schoolwide procedures, all in-person appointments with families have to be pre-arranged and approved.  My open times are 10:30am to 11:00am & 12:15pm to 1:00pm daily.

I will use Remind for general class/school/district announcements, and you are able to join using a cell phone number or an email address.  I also encourage you to accept the invite to our Google Classroom, so that you can stay informed on what we are doing in class.

Hello, and Welcome 7th Grade Students!

I am Mrs. Johnson, and I am one of your teachers for the 2023-2024 school year.  I am so excited to see you, get to know you, and to help you to be the best you can be.  We will work hard and try our best to make progress daily in our classes, but I promise to support and advocate for you every step of the way.  We will be positive, respectful, and kind to ourselves and to each another.  If you ever have any questions, concerns or problems in any of your classes, or in general, please know that I am here and available to you.  It is my hope to make this experience a positive, engaging and productive time.  Here’s to a fantastic year!
