Welcome to our 3rd Grade bilingual class at Flynn School!  I am very excited to have joined such a wonderful family of educators and students.  I studied bilingual education and Spanish at Kean University and graduated in 1999 with a B.A.  I love working with bilingual students because I too, am a second language learner.  I learned Spanish when I was in school.  Learning another language is what drove me to become a bilingual teacher.  

I look forward to the many exciting and challenging experiences that Third Grade brings to our students.  It is a challenging grade, but every student will grow and learn so many new things!  We will publish writing, multiply and divide, create science and Social Studies projects and at times, lead our own learning through the use of technology.  

This is going to be an awesome and productive year at Flynn School!

¡Bienvenidos al 3er grado bilingue!  Estoy muy encantada de ser parte de la familia escolar de Flynn con los mejores estudiantes y profesores.  Me gradué en el año 1999 de la Universidad de Kean con un B.A. en educación bilingue.  Me encanta enseñar las clases bilingues porque yo también aprendí otro idioma. ¡Si no fuera por eso... no estuviera maestra bilingue!  

Estoy excitada por la oportunidad de compartir todas las experiencias interesantes y divertidas del 3er grado con sus hijos.  Es un grado rigoroso, en que los niños van a publicar sus trabajos escritos, hacer multiplicación y división y crear proyectos de ciencias y estudios esociales.  Va a ser un año excelente!
