PAHS Sophomore Selected for Highly Competitive Theater Program!
We are pleased to announce that sophomore, Brandon Rivera, was selected to the Two River Metro Scholars Program!
This is a year-long, highly competitive program open to high school juniors from across New Jersey. During the 19-20 school year, Brandon will have the unique opportunity to learn more about professional theatre. He will be able to see all of the Two River Theatre shows for free, participate in workshops and master classes with professional artists, and assist the staff throughout the company. This is a true service learning opportunity for this young scholar. Since 2005, only 151 students have completed the program.
This is free of charge and will take place outside of the school day. Brandon was selected due to his lighting design for the McGinnis Production of Seussical Jr. He was the lighting technician for this production. Brandon took it upon himself, with the help from his family, to apply for this opportunity.
