Summer Theatre Program, Grades 3 - 12

Location: Perth Amboy High School

Time: 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Curriculum Focus: Visual Art, Music, Dance, Theatre, Video Production, English Language Arts

Student Selection Criteria: Students with experience in the elementary school musicals will be selected for participation in addition to music/theater teacher recommendations. Students who participate in performing arts courses in middle/high school will be recommended for participation in this program.

Description:

The Summer Theatre Program will provide a transformative arts education experience, advancing academic skills, social-emotional learning, and cultural awareness through a collaborative, engaging medium. Students will collaborate over the course of the summer, working in both performance roles and backstage crew to produce a culminating musical performacne for the community.

The program will service approximately 80 students.
