Hello, my name is Mariuxi Jimenez and this is my 16th year teaching. I began my teaching journey in NYC but later migrated to New Jersey, where I continued my career as an Early Childhood Educator in the District of Perth Amboy. I graduated with my Master's degree in Childhood Education in 2007 and immediately started my teaching career. 

I work alongside my paraprofessional, Ada Flores, and my Dual Language partner Kayla Figueroa, and her paraprofessional, Nancy Zupko.

I love to do arts and crafts, drink COFFEE, travel, and, of course, SHOP! My passion is definitely teaching and being the best educator that I can be to the students of Perth Amboy. I hope that this year will be a successful one full of new relationships and memorable experiences.

Hola, mi nombre es Mariuxi Jimenez y este es mi decimosexto año enseñando. Yo comencé mi carrera en la ciudad de Nueva York, pero después de migrar al estado de Nueva Jersey, continué mi carrera como educadora en el Distrito de Perth Amboy. Me gradué con mi Maestría en Educación en el 2007 y comencé mi carrera inmediatamente después.

Trabajo junta a mi paraprofesional, Ada Flores y con mi compañera del Programa de Dualidad Lingüística Kayla Figueroa y su paraprofesional, Nancy Zupko.

Amo hacer artesanías, viajar, beber CAFÉ y por supuesto ir de compras. Mi pasión es enseñar y hacerlo de la manera más eficaz para el beneficio de los estudiantes de Perth Amboy.  Espero que este año sea un año exitoso lleno de nuevas amistades y experiencias memorables.
