Hello, my name is Mariuxi Jimenez and this is my 18th year teaching. I began my teaching journey in NYC but later migrated to New Jersey, where I continued my career as an Early Childhood Educator in the District of Perth Amboy. I graduated with my Master's degree in Childhood Education in 2007 and immediately started my teaching career. I was lucky enough to teach in the Dual Language Program for 13 years, and now I am excited about starting a new adventure in a Transitional Bilingual classroom at James J. Flynn Elementary School.

A little about me:

I love interior design, drinking COFFEE, traveling, and, of course, SHOPPING! My passion is definitely teaching and being the best educator that I can be to the students of Perth Amboy. I hope that this year will be a successful one full of new relationships and memorable experiences.

Hola, mi nombre es Mariuxi Jimenez y este es mi decimoctavo año enseñando. Yo comencé mi carrera en la ciudad de Nueva York, pero después de migrar al estado de Nueva Jersey, continué mi carrera como educadora en el Distrito de Perth Amboy. Me gradué con mi Maestría en Educación en el 2007 y comencé mi carrera inmediatamente después. Tuve la suerte de enseñar en el Programa Lenguaje Dual durante 13 años, y ahora estoy emocionada de comenzar una nueva aventura en un aula Bilingüe de Transicion en la escuela primaria James J. Flynn. 

Un poco sobre mi:

Amo diseño interior, viajar, beber CAFÉ y por supuesto ir de compras. Mi primera pasión es enseñar y hacerlo de la manera más eficaz para el beneficio de los estudiantes de Perth Amboy.  Espero que este año sea un año exitoso lleno de nuevas amistades y experiencias memorables.
