Hello, my name is Michelle Candelaria. I have been a part of Perth Amboy Public Schools and teaching for the Dual Language Program since September 2011. I graduated in 2008 from Seton Hall University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Behavioral Science and Psychology. I furthered my education and obtained a certificate in Early Childhood Education, Elementary, and Bilingual certification from Kean University. I am currently taking courses to earn my certifictaion in Library Media Specialist.

I have been working with young children since I was an undergraduate student. Every day, the children in my life make me smile and appreciate being a teacher. Other than being a parent of two amazing kids, Brielle and Hudson, nothing is as fulfilling as teaching our future doctors, firefighters, lawyers, nurses, police officers, and teachers.
