Hello! My name is Ms. Jessica Alvarez. I taught dual language spanish world at Ignacio Cruz for 8 years. I am now a kindergarten dual language English teacher at our new school and I could not be more excited! I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Kean University. I also have a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University. I have been working with children since 2006. I love teaching! It is my passion!! :)
Since I was a little girl I always wanted to be a teacher to change and influence the lives of others. I now have that opportunity to do it every day! My goal is to create an environment that encourages child initiation, participation, and appropriate social interaction and ensure educational success. My philosophy as a kindergarten teacher is to appreciate each child as a unique individual with various learning styles and personalities.
