My name is Mrs. Struhala and I have been a bilingual teacher at the Dr. Herbert N. Richardson School for 16 years. I have taught 4th grade, 3rd grade and briefly taught K through 2nd grades as an Intervention teacher.
I earned my Undergraduate Degree in Elementary and Bilingual/Bicultural Education and Spanish from Kean University. Shortly afterwards, I earned my Master's Degree in Mathematical Foundations from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Most recently, I completed an ESL Certification program from Rowan University as of May of 2019.
I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, viewing theatre productions and traveling as often and as far as possible (especially if the destination is near an ocean). However, my NUMBER "1" PASSION is LEARNING and TEACHING !
"Education is the most powerful weapon which
you can use to change the world."
