Dear Families, 

I hope this message finds you all in good health and high spirits.  My name is Melissa Roman, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the President of the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) here at E.J. Patten.  First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude for the warm welcome I have received from the school administration, staff, and the incredible parent community.  It is an honor to serve in this role and work alongside such dedicated individuals who are committed to the success and well-being of our students.  As the PTO President, my primary goal is to foster a strong partnership between parents, teachers, and the community.  Together, we can create an enriching and supportive environment that empowers our students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.  

I believe that open communication and collaboration are key to achieving our shared objectives.  I encourage each one of you to actively participate in PTO meetings, events, and initiatives.  Your involvement, ideas, and feedback are valuable in shaping the programs and activities we organize for the benefit of our students. In the coming weeks and months, we have an exciting lineup of events planned, including fundraisers and engaging activities for our students.  I am confident that these initiatives will not only strengthen our school community but also create lasting memories for our children.  I am eager to meet and connect with all of you, whether it's at PTO meetings, school events, or simply through email or phone conversations.  Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions, suggestions, or ideas you may have.  Together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of our students and contribute to their overall success.
