Miss Christina Fiore

Welcome to Grade 5! My name is Christina Fiore and I am the ICR teacher in room 238, specializing in the subject areas of Math, Science, and Social Studies with my co-teacher Mrs. Chapman. I am in my 10th year of teaching. Before joining the Patten family last year, I taught 4th and 5th grade in Jersey City Public Schools for 8 years. I graduated with a BA in Elementary Education and American Studies from St. Peter's University and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood and Special Education from NJCU. I have also been an Executive Function Coach for the past 8 years, where I support students of all ages in the areas of planning, prioritizing, time management, goal setting, and many more areas of executive function. I use many of these strategies in the classroom to help set students up for success both in and out of the classroom!
