Curriculum
The comprehensive basic school curriculum at the James J. Flynn School is aligned to the New Jersey State Learning Standards (NJSLS) and includes Language Arts Literacy (reading, literature, grammar, writing, spelling, and letter formation), Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Art, Music, Physical Education, Health (Drugs/Alcohol, Family Living, and Safety), Media, Bilingual Education, English as a Second Language (ESL), Special Education, and Technology. The students are exposed to a variety of strategies and techniques designed to differentiate the instruction and enhance the learning experience.
