The purpose of the TV Studio in the elementary schools is to get students excited about the field of video and film makers in the production of film, video, and news media projects for business and entertainment.  In pre-production, students learn the basic principles of story development, screenplay writing, and storyboarding. Instruction in the production stage includes basic visual composition, and the set up and operation of camera, sound, and lighting equipment.
