My name is Ms. Catherine Satterthwaite. I am currently a second grade teacher at A.V. Ceres School. I have been in Perth Amboy since 2006. I started at Flynn School as a paraprofessional. Then, in 2007 I was hired as a third grade teacher at Ceres. I taught 3rd grade for five years, then kindergarten for five years and now I am currently in 2nd grade. This is my 4th year in 2nd. I gradated Kean University in 2004 with a BA in Broadcast Communications. After I graduated I decided I really wanted to teach and did the Alternate Route to get certified. Along with teaching, I am also a part-time dance teacher. I have been dancing since I was 4 and have been teaching dance now for the past 20 years.
