• My name is Jessica D'Amore.  I have been teaching at E. J. Patten School since I graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2004 with a bachelor of science in Elementary Education and English.  Throughout my teaching career I have had the opportunity to work with many grade levels and supportive colleagues.  I began as an intervention teacher working with first, second and fourth grade.  I became a first grade teacher in 2005.  In 2009 I had the opportunity to become the general education teacher in the inclusive first grade classroom.  During this time I completed my masters degree in Special Education from Kean University.  I strive to provide my students with a safe and caring classroom environment where I use multisensory teaching techniques to reach all learners and promote academic and social success.
