Welcome to room 118! My name is Jessie Abreu, and I am your child's English Teacher. I started my teaching career in 2012 and joined Edmund Hmieleski E.C.C. in 2019. It is such a pleasure to have the opportunity to work with preschool-aged children. We are thrilled to have you join us this year. Our classroom is a place where curiosity blossoms, friendships grow, and imaginations soar. Together, we’ll embark on a wonderful journey of exploration and learning, tailored to nurture each child's unique interests and strengths.

Your child is in a dual-language classroom. That means your child will learn English and Spanish equally. One week your child will learn English with his/her English teacher and the following week your child will learn Spanish with his/her Spanish teacher. This pattern will continue throughout the school year.

We believe that a strong partnership between home and school is essential for your child's success. Our dedicated team is here to support you and your little ones every step of the way. We encourage open communication, so please feel free to reach out with any questions or ideas you may have.
