Ms. Nicole Mezzacappa

My name is Nicole Mezzacappa and I am the Special Education Consultant for the general education inclusive classrooms. I am excited to be working with your child to provide in-class resources and specialized education according to each child’s individualized education plan. 

I work as a team with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, as well as the child study team to provide a positive, loving, and safe environment where children can learn and grow.  

I hold a New Jersey Standard Certification in Special Education and Preschool through Grade 3. I have my Masters Degree in both Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Touro University. 

This is my second year working at Hmieleski. Prior to that, I taught in Jersey City, as well as New York City schools.
