Dr. Jessica Krass

Welcome Class of 2028 to the Freshman Academy at Perth Amboy High School!

 

I am the Non-Traditional School Psychologist for the Freshman class. I received my Doctorate in Psychology in May of 2024 from Rutgers University. I have worked in several school districts with students just like you, providing support for their mental, social, and emotional needs. I bring a fun and collaborative style to therapy and aim to make my students feel heard and validated. I believe that a student cannot be academically engaged if they are experiencing hardship inside or outside of school. I want to encourage my students to find their voice and advocate for themselves so that they can be properly engaged with their school environment. Working with high school students is my passion and I aim to inspire my students to be the best they can be every day. The Perth Amboy community is near and dear to my heart, and I hope to not only support my students, but their families as well!
