RULES/ EXPECTATIONS

ARRIVE ON TIME AND BE PREPARED FOR WORK. Students are required to check Google classroom daily for assignments/ homework/ important information.

BRING ALL the LEARNING MATERIALS WITH YOU. A pencil, notebook, (for Math only) and folder must be brought to class daily. No pens allowed in Math.

BE CONSIDERATE OF THE RIGHTS AND FEELINGS OF OTHERS. DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIORS AND CONVERSATIONS DURING CLASS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

During instructional time, please no eating or drinking in the classroom.
***Failure to follow any of the above rules will result in a call home. If the behavior has not changed thereafter, the Vice Principal will be notified and disciplinary actions will take place.
GRADING SYSTEM:
-
Assessments (tests, quizzes, projects) - 60%
-
Classwork (worksheets, group work, note taking, participation) - 35%
-
Homework - 5% (might also count as classwork)
For each day a student is absent, they have 24 hours to complete the missed assignment. It is the student’s responsibility to inquire about missed assignments when he/she returns. In the event of a long-term absence, arrangements can be made to complete assignments.
