•                                     A little bit about me...
    Education:
I went to St. Cecilia's Catholic School from K-8 in Iselin, N.J.  Then, I went to John F. Kennedy high school, also in Iselin, N.J.  After, I went to Middlesex County College and transferred to Rutgers University, majoring in history.  I decided to go back to school to get my teaching certificate from Kean University.  While at Kean University, I was a full-time paraprofessional at Warren Elementary School in Warren, N.J. and went to school at night.  I completed my student teaching at Mathew Jago Elementary School in Port Reading, N.J.  I began working for Perth Amboy Public Schools in September of 2002.  I received a MA in Education with a focus on reading and literacy while teaching full time at James J. Flynn Elementary School in Perth Amboy.  I've taught second grade for seventeen years and first grade for four years.  I'm excited about teaching third grade here at Anthony V. Ceres Elementary School.

    Family Life:
I grew up in a very Italian home.  Typical Sunday dinners (always at 1:00) with homemade tomato sauce, meatballs, sausage, braciole, and pasta with grown produce from the backyard.  Luckily, my children were able to experience these dinners.  I am married and my husband and I  have two active boys, Scotty and Riley, and a dog (miniature long-haired dachshund) named Rosco.  We always try to vacation at our family mountain getaway in Pennsylvania, where we get to live out in the country for awhile, and in the summer to our family beach place in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey.  As a family, we are fortunate to experience the best of both worlds.
