My name is Mr. McGee and I am the 6th Grade Language Arts Pull-Out Resource Teacher.
I have been teaching for 6 years and I am very excited for the 2018-2019 school year.
Homework is assigned for weekdays and requires the student to read for 30 minutes a night and then complete a 4-5 sentence summary in their reading log. All reading logs must be signed by the guardian and are collected on Fridays.
STUDENTS MUST ARRIVE TO CLASS ON TIME UNLESS THEY HAVE A PASS
1st late = warning, 2nd late = lunch detention, 3rd late = referral to Administration/VP
CLASSROOM RULES
1) Be on time to class with all materials listed above. Immediately begin the “Do Now”/ “Get Ready”.
2) Be respectful to teachers, adults and peers.
Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
Use appropriate language.
3) Follow instructions the first time they are given.
GRADING
Grades will be broken down into three categories:
Assessment/projects 60%
Classwork/participation 35%
Homework 5%
