PAHS is a National School of Character

We are pleased to announce that Perth Amboy High School has been named a 2019 National School of Character by Character.org. Criteria for selection are based on Character.org’s 11 Principles of Effective Character, which include providing students with opportunities for moral action, fostering shared leadership, and engaging families and communities as partners in the character-building effort. The Character Education Committee at the high school has implemented character initiatives over the last three years. Last month, representatives from Character.Org spent the day touring the campus, visiting classrooms, meeting with student, staff and parents validating evidence submitted on their application.

Perth Amboy High School will be honored at the Character.org National Forum in Washington D.C. in the fall of 2019. For more information, please visit www.Character.org.
