Hey, good morning boys and girls. It is Mensa-Mensa Monday. (not so good and not so bad). Guess what? Only 9 more wake up days. Nine more days of being a Pre-kindergartener. L. It has been a crazy but a good year. I loved getting to know each of you.

Hey, buenos días chicos y chicas. Es Mensa-Mensa el lunes. (no tan bueno y no tan malo). ¿Adivina qué? Sólo 9 días más de despertar. Nueve días más de ser un Pre-kindergartener. L. Ha sido un año loco pero bueno. Me encantaba conocerlos a cada uno de ustedes.

 Hoy es el Día Nacional del Mejor Amigo Dibujar una imagen de su mejor amigo! Escribe su nombre y escribe "¡Te amo!"

Well let’s get started on today’s activities.  Yes, today is Monday, June 8, 2020. The weather is sunny and nice. The temperature will be 79 degrees. WOW!! What a great day! Let’s sing the Good morning, Pocket and Sunny Songs.

Bueno, empecemos con las actividades de hoy.  Sí, hoy es lunes, 8 de junio de 2020. El clima es soleado y agradable. La temperatura será de 79 grados. ¡¡Wow!! ¡Qué gran día! Cantemos los buenos días, Pocket y Sunny Songs.

This week we will discuss FISH. Sing this song using your fingers.

Esta semana hablaremos de FISH. Canta esta canción con los dedos.

Think about the question of the day: “Where do fish live? Why?”

Discuss this with a family member and do this activity.

Have everyone in your family trace their hands. Use crayons make them into fishes. Which one is the biggest which one is the smallest?  Name your fishes and write it on the fish. Now have your fish go for a “swim”. Where did you go? Ocean, lake, pond? Did it have water? Why?

Analice esto con un miembro de la familia y realice esta actividad. Que todos en tu familia rastreen sus manos. Usa crayones para convertirlos en peces. ¿Cuál es el más grande cuál es el más pequeño?  Nombra tus peces y escríbelo en el pescado. Ahora haz que tus peces vayan a nadar. ¿Dónde has ido? ¿Océano, lago, estanque? ¿Tenía agua? ¿por qué?

Make puppets with the pictures and retell the story in your own words. Just cut the picture out and attach them to a stick, straw or plastic spoon.

For the letter activity go on a letter hunt. Using the alphabet chart, look for all the letters. Check off each letter as you find it. Draw a picture of your favorite find and label it.

Para la actividad de la carta ir en una búsqueda de cartas. Usando el gráfico del alfabeto, busque todas las letras. Marque cada letra a medida que la encuentre. Dibuja una imagen de tu hallazgo favorito y etiquétela.

For the number activity, play the card game, WAR.

Write the numbers 1-10 on separate pieces of paper. Do this two times.

Direction to play:

Give one set to a family member and you keep the other set.  Each player, turns one card over.  Compare the number. Which one is higher? Whoever has the highest number, keeps both cards. Do this until one person has all the cards.  In the case the cards are the same, you go to WAR. Place three cards face (W-A-R) down and turn the fourth card over. Whoever has the highest number gets all the cards. This is a fun game. I played it when I was little. You can also use a deck of cards.

Escriba los números del 1 al 10 en trozos de papel separados. Hazlo dos veces. 

Dirección para jugar:

 Dale un conjunto a un miembro de la familia y te quedas con el otro conjunto.  Cada jugador, da la vuelta una carta.  Compare el número. ¿Cuál es más alto? Quien tenga el número más alto, se queda con las dos cartas. Haz esto hasta que una persona tenga todas las cartas.  En el caso de que las cartas sean las mismas, vas a WAR. Coloca tres cartas en la cara (W-A-R) hacia abajo y gira la cuarta carta. Quien tenga el número más alto, recibirá todas las cartas. Este es un juego divertido. Lo toqué cuando era pequeña. También puedes usar una baraja de cartas.
