Hello, my name is Damon Clark and I am the Varsity Head Baseball Coach.  I was born and raised in Perth Amboy. While in middle school, I attended Shull School where I played baseball and basketball.  After middle school, I attended Perth Amboy High School, where I played baseball and basketball as well.  As a member of the varsity baseball team, I received numerous awards as a pitcher including all county , all area and was selected to the senior all star game.  After high school, I attended Saint Peter's University on a baseball scholarship. After a year, I decided to transfer to New Jersey City University and major in education while continuing my playing career.  During my time at NJCU I took the New Jersey Civil service exam and was called to become a police officer.  I was a police officer in Perth Amboy from 2003-2012 at which point I had to retire early due to injuries sustained while in the line of duty.  After retiring from the police department, I began to volunteer as a little league coach. After volunteering for a few years, I was asked to join the Perth Amboy High varsity baseball coaching staff in 2015.  I was the varsity assistant from 2015-2019 at which point I was appointed the new Head Coach after Coach Perez stepped down.
