She will be attending Kean University in the fall to study Architecture; She is on the 4X100 team and is ranked 4th in school history, and she is ranked three all-time in school history in the 200m; this is Samantha Gonzalez

You seen her picture all over the school. She is a four-year varsity runner, a two-time regional champ, and the 2024 state wrestling champion this year. This year, GMC Girls Wrestler of the Year. She is on the 4X100 team and is ranked 4th in school history. She got into so many colleges that she doesn't know where to go but wants to study exercise science/kinesiology. Dear Senior Athlete,
We wanted to reflect on your achievements thus far and express our excitement for your future. You have worked so hard to get to where you are today, and we are so proud of the athlete and person you all have become. We have been pleased to coach you over the past few months or years. You have grown into an outstanding athlete and an even better person. We are so proud of your progress and excited to see what the future holds for you. We encourage you to keep working hard and never abandon your dreams. You have the potential to achieve great things, and we know you will if you stay focused and dedicated. We look forward to watching you finish your high school career strong and wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Thank you for all that you have done for our team.

On any day you can see 20-25 girls running and throwing... outdoor training has been the team solution to social distancing and masking up!
