This is Ms. Rothweiler's 4th year teaching at Perth Amboy High School! Currently, she teaches Dance Company 1, Dance Company 2, and Honors Dance Company. 

Natalie Rothweiler is from Scotch Plains New Jersey. In 2019, she received her Masters in Education in Dance from the Graduate School of Education at Rutgers University. She currently has her New Jersey K-12 Teacher Certification in Dance. She went to Rutgers knowing that she loves children and dance, so it was clear this was the right path for her. Throughout her clinical experience, her love grew deeper as she saw how dance can affect a school atmosphere.

In May of 2018, she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Mason Gross School of the Arts, at Rutgers University. Throughout her time at Rutgers, she performed choreographed works by Keith Thompson and John Evans. Within her own work, she was given the opportunity to perform the duet “Mirror Image” in collaboration with Haley Hamilton, and she choreographed the group piece “Individually Us.”

Before Rutgers, she started dancing at the age of two at Metuchen Dance Centre. Here she studied a variety of dance styles including Modern, Tap, Jazz, Ballet, and Lyrical.
