I graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Masters in Education. I studied Theater Arts with a concentration in Acting and I minored in Music.
At PAHS I teach Acting I, II, Advanced Acting and Musical Theater.
Acting I is a beginning acting course. In the beginning of the year we learn about communications and learn how to speak in front of a group of people. It is essential to be comfortable speaking in front of a group of people before you can dive into Acting on stage! The second half of the year we work on scene study.
Acting II is a more advanced acting course where we focus on intensive scene study, monologue work, auditioning, and live performance.
Advanced Acting is the most advanced recommended course where we focus on intensive scene study, monologues, Shakespeare, varying acting techniques, auditioning, and performance.
Musical Theater is a course that encompasses acting, dancing, and singing. We learn about Musical Theater History and perform songs, dances, and scenes from various musicals. We also learn about different production elements involved in producing a musical.
