Anatomy & Physiology DUAL
-
Anatomy and Physiology: The study of the structures and functions of the human body. By the end of this course, your brain will contain an owner's manual for your body. Every brain should have one!
Course Syllabus and Expectations
You have been assigned a text book, which you are to leave at your home so that you can use it there. A class set of books will be available for use in school.
There are excellent resources for Anatomy & Physiology online. You should familiarize yourself with a few. There is even a Pinterest Board for A&P. If you should discover an amazing resource, please share it. I'll list it here and I'll give you a shout out for having found it and shared it with the class.
Besides understanding HOW the body works, there is an enormous amount of memorization involved in order to know all of the structures in the body. There are many amusing mnemonics that will help you remember certain regions of the body. There is a Pinterest Board dedicated to these mnemonics, should you find that you need a little help remembering something. We will share these in class when we find those that are applicable to our studies.
