Dynamics of Health Care in Society
Dynamics of Health Care in Society is an orientation to health care and delivery, from an interdisciplinary perspective, with a focus on process skills to include critical thinking, ethical reasoning, effective communication, and self-directed learning abilities. The professional competencies stress application to general issues and topics common to all health care providers. Emphasis is placed on the role of the health care practitioner as both provider and consumer of health care services.Students are expected to arrive to class on time (Punctuality is important);and be Prepared - with pen/cil, paper (notebook & homework assignment/s).Please be Pleasant & Polite and follow all school Policies & Procedures.Students are also expected to follow all safety Precautions in terms of laboratory safety.ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE -Upon arrival to class, student/s should get their folder & begin the Do Now (warm-up activity); Student(s) should also read the assignment board for the Daily expectation, class work and Homework assignment.Student work is kept in individual student folder(s) by class in a file drawer in the classroom. Students start class by collecting their folder & end class by returning their folder with all completed work/assignments.
