I am a passionate art educator with 15 years of experience inspiring students to explore their creativity, develop technical skills, and express their unique voices through visual arts. Over the course of my career, I have taught a wide range of courses, from foundations of art to advanced placement and portfolio development, guiding students through drawing, painting, mixed media, digital design, and art history. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a supportive, student-driven environment where experimentation and personal expression are encouraged. I believe in connecting traditional techniques with contemporary practices, giving students both the tools and the confidence to create meaningful works of art. Beyond the classroom, I am committed to cultivating a vibrant arts community, organizing exhibitions, collaborating across disciplines, and helping students see the value of art in everyday life. Watching students grow as artists—and as individuals who see the world with creativity and empathy—continues to be the most rewarding part of my work.
