    2025 Girls Track Season Highlights

    The season began with an impressive 110 girls on the roster—a true testament to the energy and excitement surrounding the team. As the season progressed, the roster was trimmed to a strong, committed core of 56 athletes who showed up hungry, determined, and ready to work.

    March 29 – Season Opener

    At our very first meet, the girls set the tone early with standout performances. Both our 4x800m and 4x400m relay teams placed 5th overall in the entire meet—an impressive start for the season.

    April 5 – 4x1600m Relay Breaks Records

    At the next major meet, our 4x1600m relay team earned 4th place overall, and in doing so, climbed the record books—now sitting at #2 all-time in Perth Amboy school history!

    April 15 – White Division Championship

    The White Division meet saw some of our best performances yet:

    • Giselle Rosa dominated the distance events, taking 1st place in the 1600m and 2nd place in the 3200m.

    • In the 800m run, our girls swept the top six:

      • Kaylie – 3rd place

      • Lizbeth – 4th place

      • Karen – 6th place

    • Lia secured 3rd place in the 400m hurdles.

    • In the 400m dash, we saw a powerhouse showing:

      • Valeria – 2nd place

      • Harmony – 3rd place

    • Valeria also took 6th place in the 200m dash.

    • Our 4x400m relay team (Amy Wilkes, Harmony Glasco, Valeria Villagas, and Alyson Elicea) earned a strong 3rd place finish.

    April 29th & 30th GMC Relays

    Most recently, the team competed at the GMC Relay Championships, where every relay team placed either 1st or 2nd in the White Division—a testament to the depth and drive of our entire roster.

    • DMR (Karen, Alyson, Kayli, & Giselle)

    • 4x400 (Amy, Harmony, Lia, & Valeria)
