    CLASS DESCRIPTION

Welcome to advanced robotics.   During this course students will be exposed to a rigorous and comprehensive study of robotics that is ideally suited for those aiming for careers or further study in engineering, programming, and robotics. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, application and problem solving by delving into experimental learning.  Beginning with foundational principles, we study the historical and ethical aspects of robotics, exploring how robotics is used in society,  mechanical design, coding and programming, environment sensing  using advanced sensors, as well as intricate control mechanisms.   Students learn how to identify and apply robotics theory to real-world applications.
